Kenny Newell songwriter, musician says
My passion was music ever since I can remember. Growing up in the wind swept prairies of Illinois teaches you not only about hard work, but also about how the earthiness and bleakness can really direct your passion.

Kenny played the Illinois-Iowa circuit with bands such as, Alias, White Lies, Paragon, & Chuck Tribbett in the 70's Leaving the heartland in 1981, Kenny arrived in Denver playing & singing in local bands such as Joe Friday & The Joes through the 90's. In 1998 Kenny met up with singer-songwriter Arlene Hattori, and began an ongoing association as Vivid Rhythm, currently playing the Denver circuit. Kenny continues his passion by writing and recording with local Denver artists.
